I've been a fan of Ghost Rider since he's reboot in the 90's. Danny Ketch, to me, is Ghost Rider, and Johnny Blaze is just some old has been. But thanks to the recent feature film, Blaze is back in the seat and filling it nicely.
Blaze awakens in hell, in full blown Ghost Rider mode, and all he knows is that he wants to escape, but someone else is trying to escape as well, The Devil. Upon escaping, Johnny tries to find out why he has reborn as the host of Ghost Rider and to send the Devil back to hell. Daniel Way manages to squeak out a barely there story that only works due to the tremendous artwork of Mark Texeria (who penciled the first 25 issues of the 90's GR title) who can make any half ass comic readable.
I also love the fact that they kept the 90's redesign of GR, but got rid of the ultra crappy 90's bike and used the old school Blaze cycle. I'm often on the fence about this title has my hatred for Way (who ruined Wolverine!) and love of Texeria.
I have to say buyer beware, if you know nothing of Ghost Rider, you may like it.
