Be Kind Rewind Review

As I said in my Kung Fu Panda Review, Jack Black can be very overbearing in his movies. A little JB goes a long way, but thankfully Mos Def is turning into a great actor and really compliments JB.

I really expected nothing from this film, not to be funny or even remotely entertaining but damn, it was. Everyone did a great job, especially all the extras in the film, some of them were hilarious.

What I would have loved to seen were the actual films they shot. I mean, Ghostbusters in 20 mins would be great to watch, or the Robocop film they shot, I thought the costume was hilarious.

When you boil down the movie its all about heart, friendship and standing up for what you believe in. Its a very heartfelt movie, which I can be enjoyed by almost anyone, despite the mild language.

A great effort by everyone involved, Be Kind Rewind gets a 4/5 stars. A complete surprise hit with me.
