I didn't think I would like this movie as much as I did. Maybe its because at heart I'm a huge ass pansy who cries during sappy movies, but at least I can admit it.Both Freeman and Nicholson cakewalk their collective asses through this movie in what must of been the easiest paycheck either one of the have ever earned.
Carter (Freeman) gets diagnosed with Cancer and while in the hospital, gets roomed with Edward (Jack) who also has cancer. While there, they become friends and upon learning that they both have roughly a year left, write a list of stuff they want to do before the shuffle off and then go off and have fun.
Pretty much, The Bucket List is feel good movie. Yes its about death, but its saying "Go out and enjoy life cause we don't have long here".
I enjoyed watching the movie, but I don't think I would have if I seen it in the theaters. Its meant to be watched with loved ones, not completely strangers in a darken theater.
What really got me, not to mention my family, is when the shaved Nicholson's head to do the cancer treatment, he looked exactly like my Grandpa... it was creepy.
Anyways, The Bucket List was great to watch, a solid 4/5 stars.
