JLA: The Injustice League HC Vol 3 Review

This relaunch of Justice League has been a complete and utter mess. Slow plodding storylines, less then stellar art and c-list characters.

The Injustice League starts off on the right foot, Lex, Joker and Cheetah doing their own little spoof on roster election, sadly the best part of the whole arc, and then it just falls apart. In something that mimics the final few episodes of the JLU cartoon, McDuffie just cannot bring it together.

Everything happens so matter of factly, that you can't enjoy it. Maybe if the arc was 6 issues long instead of 4, it might have been pulled off better.

Well, the scene with Parasite attacking Vixen to take out Superman was neat, but too underplayed. There is a neat little subplot here, which I doubt will be touched in future arcs.

To top off the HC, there's a holiday story with Red Arrow running into an old retired villain at a soup kitchen, and the re-introduction of the Tangent Universe which is better written then the whole Injustice League arc.

McDuffie dropped the ball hard on this one.

This maybe my lowest rating yet, 2/5 stars. A complete waste of time and money. Avoid at all costs.
