Let it be known that the comic community I hang around with, hated this mini-series. Looking at you Newsarama.Yes, it wasn't the best written, though nicely drawn, and the events in it unfold like a rock rolling down a hill, but in the end I digged it.
Probably the biggest annoyance found with it, is that it completely reason why the amazons attacked won't be fully answered until DC's next big Event, that event being Countdown and the deal with Granny Goodness.
Actually, let be known know that Amazons Attack was supposed to run during Infinite Crisis/52, but due to the delays on the Wonder Woman title by Heinberg, it had to be moved and ended up being a total waste of time on everyone parts as none of it has even been addressed. Go DC!
If you do plan on picking this up, also get Wonder Woman: Love and Murder, as it fills in some gaps to the story.
Really, they should have just released a nice big HC collecting all the tie-ins, it would have made for a better read, chances are, you'll see that at a much later date.
Probably one of the biggest messes ever that DC has published.
