Strange Wilderness Review

I guess I have a soft spot in me for the guys who associate themselves with Adam Sandler, cause usually I find their movies way funnier then any Sandler picture, just look at Grandma's Boy, Hilarious!

You would think following a rundown, crappy wilderness show wouldn't really lend itself to too many laughs, but the delivery by Steve Zhan on all of his lines is spot on. I chuckle at almost everything he says. Thats not to say everyone else isn't pulling there weight either, except maybe Jonah Hill is what maybe his weakest film to date.

It was nice seeing some familiar faces who haven't been on screen in years, Ernest Borgnine, Robert Patrick, Joe Don Baker and the ever so lovely Ashley Scott, she is so yummy. Not only do some of these guys bring some old school acting chops, but provide some great moments.

Strange Wilderness completely hit me from out of left field and I enjoyed it alot. A well deserved 3.5/5 stars. I would have liked to see commentary or an unrated version of the movie. And that follow up promised at the end credits!
